Life Crystals are crucial magical objects created by individuals to signify their living status. These crystals, invincible to most forms of destruction, can still be destroyed under specific circumstances. One circumstance involves an individual of significantly greater power shattering the crystal. The other involves multiple Life Crystals from the same person being in close proximity, as they naturally repel each other, leading to their destruction.
Life Crystals cannot be used to harm the individual they are linked to directly. To affect the connected individual, one must have a significantly higher cultivation base and utilize “Voodoo Magic” to connect the crystal to its creator.
Attempts to create armor from Life Crystals, whether using one’s own or others’, have failed due to their repellent nature or shattering upon impact. Besides destruction by powerful beings or proximity, Life Crystals can be damaged when the linked individual suffers severe harm or loses significant life force. If a Life Crystal shatters into dust, it signifies the linked individual’s death.
Created by infusing a portion of the soul, Life Crystals have a direct link to the individual. Beings without souls cannot create Life Crystals without the aid of Command, who uniquely enables their creation from the heart. The sole purpose of Life Crystals is to signal when the individual is in life-or-death danger or has died.
The High Council has utilized Life Crystals since its inception to monitor the status of its members. The High Council’s Life Crystals are kept in a secure, exclusive location, arranged as follows: 12 Life Crystals at the bottom for the High Council Members, four above these signifying members above the High Council (with only three currently visible due to a prolonged absence of the fourth), and one Life Crystal at the very top. This top Life Crystal, emitting an ancient aura, belongs to the High Council - Founder, appearing as a dark grey-purple crystal that remains unscathed, serving as one of the few indicators that the Founder is still alive and vigilant. Its existence is a key factor in determining if The Founder is actually alive. This crystal unfortunately doesn’t dismiss the rumours that have spread about him over the centuries.
